Forage

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Forage (the "App", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Disconnect LLC, handles information when you use the App. We built Forage to need as little of your personal information as possible.

No account required

Forage does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or phone number to use the App. Your kitchen inventory, saved recipes, and grocery list are stored locally on your device.

Information we process

Information stored on your device

Your inventory, saved recipes, and grocery list are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Expiry reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent to us.

Service providers

We share the limited information described above only with the providers that make the App work:

No tracking and no ads

We do not use advertising or cross-app tracking technologies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Scan photos are processed to return ingredient results and are not retained by us afterward. Information stored locally on your device remains until you delete it or remove the App.

Your choices

Children's privacy

Forage is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.

International users

The App's services are operated from, and information is processed in, the United States. By using the App you understand your information may be processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
